The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, mutual-help, war-time veterans organization. A community service organization, the American Legion now numbers nearly 3 million members, in nearly 15,000 American Legion Posts worldwide.
You’ve probably heard of The American Legion. We’re veterans just like you who care about America, veterans, their families and our nation’s youth. The Legion is a powerful voice in Washington dedicated to preserving the rights we’ve all earned and were promised by service to our nation in uniform.
Our Post has a General Membership Meeting at 7:00pm, dinner at 6:00pm, on the THIRD THURSDAY of EVERY MONTH.
During our meetings, we discuss issues concerning our Post, general membership, volunteerism, national affairs, veterans, children and youth issues and community service/fund raisers. We currently have over 100 members who believe in the continued support of our nation and community.
