Supervisor Tom Wheeler

District 5 includes thousands of miles of Sierra National Forest, Yosemite National Park and the beautiful mountain communities of Oakhurst, North Fork, Coarsegold, Ahwahnee, Raymond, and Bass Lake.

I assumed office in January 2007, working diligently to solve many of the growth-related issues we face in District 5, including water, traffic, jobs and housing. I continuously supported County policies that promoted property rights, conservation and common sense solutions to our County’s problems. At every opportunity, I made it a point to work collaboratively with my fellow Supervisors to ensure that no part of Madera County was ignored.
